Mobile Covers

A phone case is a cover that protects the outside of your phone and acts as a guard to your gadget against scratches, grime, and other risks. That means it protects your electronics and extends the longevity of the device as opposed to ending its lifespan early. These fulfill both the role of cases and protectors. Typically made of leather, they wrap around your phone. They protect the back and cover the front when you’re not using the device. There are also wallet covers, which include flaps for money and credit cards.

For a baseline level of protection, choose a case made of a shock-absorbent material (like silicone or rubber) that covers your phone’s vulnerable corners. Shoman advises smartphone owners against plastic cases, which do not effectively absorb shock and are likelier to translate any impact to the device itself. A mix of these two materials offer better protection than regular plastic cases. These materials are usually used for designing printed cases, where the back of cases are made of hard TPU, whereas the sides are of smooth poly carbonate.

Why Phone Cases are Important. No matter what case you get, they will provide an extra layer of protection for your device. You don’t want your expensive new phone to suffer a scratch, bump or crack, especially if you’re clumsy and drop your device often. A protective phone case and screen protector can prevent your iPhone or Android from getting pesky scratches, cracks or, worse, being shattered. Most importantly, a phone case isn’t just useful if you’re a little bit clumsy — it can also be a practical investment.
